Delete your SuperBond account
Last updated 11 September 2026
This page is for members of SuperBond, the dating app operated by
Malik Mathis, doing business as SuperBond. It explains how to delete your account,
what is deleted, and what we keep and for how long.
Delete it in the app
- Open SuperBond and go to Home.
- Tap the Settings icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap Delete account, then Delete to confirm.
Delete it without the app
If you no longer have the app, email
privacy@superbonddating.com
with the subject Delete my account. Send it from the email address
you use to sign in to SuperBond, so we can tell the account is yours. We will
confirm by replying to that address, and we act on requests within 45 days.
What happens next
- Straight away, your profile is hidden from everyone, and you
stop receiving notifications.
- For 30 days, you can change your mind: sign in again and tap
Restore my account.
- After 30 days, your account is permanently deleted, as
described below. This can't be undone.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account, including your email address.
- Your name, Discussion handle, date of birth, location and every other profile
answer, including gender, dating preferences, ethnicity, religion and sexual
orientation.
- Your photos, your tagline, your interests and your get-to-know-me answers.
- Your likes and passes, the people you blocked, your poll answers and votes,
and records of profiles you viewed or that viewed yours.
- Any verification request, and the device and notification records we hold for
your phone.
What we keep, and for how long
- A record that the account existed and was deleted. It holds
no name, photos or profile details, and it is kept so that reports and
records linked to the account still make sense.
- Messages you sent stay in the other person's conversation,
because they are part of their conversation too. They are kept for as long as
that conversation exists.
- Posts on the Discussion board stop being shown, and are
kept only as part of our moderation records.
- Safety reports, bans and banned-device records, including
reports you filed and reports about you. These are what stop a banned person
coming back and let us answer a report later, so they are kept for as long as
they are needed for that.
- Purchase records for any subscription, because they are
records of a payment.
- Bug reports you sent us, with your account, screenshot and
diagnostic identifiers removed.
- Records of our staff viewing your account, which are deleted
after two years.
We may also keep information for longer where the law requires us to.
Subscriptions are not cancelled for you
Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription,
because Google Play and the App Store handle the billing, not us. Cancel it first:
- Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon,
then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then
Subscriptions.
Want a break instead?
Deactivate account, just above Delete account in Settings, hides your
profile without deleting anything. You can turn it back on at any time.
More about how we handle your information is in our
Privacy Policy.
